The Scotland County Highland Games will be held Saturday, October 4th at the North Carolina Rural Heritage Center. And don’t miss the Highland Fling — a free street festival celebrating the games on Friday, October 3rd – in downtown Laurinburg.
The Laurinburg Farmers Market is open for business. Held in McDuffie Square in Downtown Laurinburg, the market is held monthly from April to October, often on the 2nd Saturday of the month.
The 2025 Kuumba Festival, a celebration of African American culture and heritage presented through art, music, dance, food, and community, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27th on Main Street in Laurinburg. The Festival serves to expose all people to the talents and contributions of the African American
The NC Whole Hog BBQ Competition returns to Laurinburg as part of Suds & Swine in Laurinburg on Friday, April 17th and Saturday, April 18th. Both days features music, food/ beer trucks, and more. Saturday adds in the BBQ!! This event is sponsored by the Laurinburg Rotary.
