At St. Andrews University, some of the students have four legs. In fact, the college’s Equestrian Center is so accomplished that all the championships won during the last decade in English, Western, and Hunter Seat competitions are too numerous to list here.
But the students – the human ones – are also there for the academics: Which is why they’re apt to be majoring in Equine Business Management, Biology, or pre-Veterinary Medicine.
The 300-acre Equestrian Center features four barns with 112 stalls, one outdoor and two indoor arenas, outdoor show and teaching areas, hunter trial courses, and permanent jumps. Numerous events and competitions are held each year.
The St. Andrews University Equestrian Center and Program is internationally renown. Click on the photo to be taken to their website for more information on the program and a schedule of riding events.
